Da Nang is the third largest city in Vietnam by urban population. It lies on the coast of the South China Sea at the mouth of the Han River, and is one of Vietnam's most important port cities, known as Tourane (or Turon) during French colonial rule
Over 20 km away from Danang downtown, Sun World Ba Na Hills is the most significant resort and recreational complex of Vietnam. The station, was founded in 1919 by French colonists. The Zen zone is on the top of hill. Though Vietnam is officially an atheist state thanks to its communist rulers, the country has been deeply influenced by Confucius and Buddhist thought, and many people take ancestor worship seriously. At the height of nearly 1500m from the sea level, it is coined the “heaven on earth” owing to its spectacular climate and otherworldly natural landscape. Linh Ung Pagoda on Ba Na Hill is one of the three famous Linh Ung Pagoda of Da Nang city, also known as “spiritual triangle Linh Ung”. Ba Na Hills has been famous for its tourist destination, the “Cau Vang Bridge” or the Golden Bridge Danang which became the most iconic and most-hyped landmark of Vietnam in recent times after its public opening in 2018.
